Frequently Asked Questions

What's the best way to install the anti-slip tape?

1. Clean Surface

Ensure that the surface is complete free from dust and grease. The best cleaning medium is a solvent such as isopropyl alcohol applied with a clean cloth. The surface should be dry and free from any loose particles.

Note: Prime and seal unpainted wood and concrete surfaces.

2. Peel Release Paper

Peel release paper and place in desired location.

3. Apply Pressure

To attain the optimum bond, sufficient pressure should be applied evenly to the surface, starting from the centre of the tape strip and work towards the ends. For best results use the Croc Grip Application Roller.

How do I remove anti-slip tape?

Our anti-slip tapes are intended to be permanent solutions, and so can be difficult to remove. Raise one edge and slowly peel away the tape on itself keeping a steady speed.

To clean off any remaining adhesive residue, try an acetone based cleaner. However, please note that cleaners such as this may impact the surface appearance, and so try a test patch in an inconspicuous area first.

How do I remove the Clear Spray on Grip?

This product is intended to be a permanent installation, and so can be difficult to remove. You may need to scape or sand off the product to remove.

Why is the Clear Spray on Grip is not spraying evenly?

As it is an aerosol-based spray, pressing the nozzle down fully allows more pressure to be released. This can cause the spray to come out in a jet rather than an even spray.

To get around this try pressing the nozzle down only about ½ the way.
